Up to $10,000 in Home Loan Down Payment Assistance

The City of Surprise currently has funding available for homebuyers interested in participating in the Homebuyer’s Assistance Program.  This program is funded by the Neighborhood Stabilization Program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Surprise Home Loan Assistance Program provides down payment assistance ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 depending on the percentage of Area Median Income (AMI) earned for the household. The homebuyer must bring 50% of required cash down payment or a minimum of $1,000. The loan used to secure the financing must be a 30 Year Fixed and can be a conventional, FHA, or VA loan.
