Up to $15,000 in Home Loan Down Payment Assistance

The applicant can receive up to $15,000 in assistance in the form of a forgivable loan. This is not a First Time Homebuyer program. This program is funded by the National Stabilization Program and is specific to the City of Phoenix only. Interested homebuyers who meet program eligibility requirements receive a $15,000 zero-interest, no monthly payment loan to use toward the purchase of an eligible foreclosed home.

Newly renovated foreclosed homes sold by NSP developer partners; improvements bring houses up to housing quality standards. Homes feature energy-efficient systems, improved design finishes, enhanced curb appeal and a home warranty.

Newly Built ‘Green’ Homes
High-quality, energy efficient homes with solar power located in the South Mountain area. Homes meet and exceed the Gold certification as rated by the National Green Building Standard, including ENERGY STAR v3, EPA WaterSense, and Indoor Air Plus certifications. Energy consumption is reduced by up to 70 percent over a traditional new home, with estimated energy costs of less than $69 per month to operate a 1,990 square foot home.
