With the holidays upon us, it is so very easy to get caught up in finding the perfect gift for family members or becoming overwhelmed by the seemingly never-ending to-do lists both in our personal lives and in our professional lives.

Retailers start planting the reminding seeds that the holidays are drawing near and doing so in record time.  They don’t want to miss one second of your holiday spending.

It would be wise to remind ourselves to stop for a moment and give thanks for all that we have, slow down and take notice and embody how fortunate we are.

What a gift we would be giving ourselves to be able to give thanks for the flower that is blooming, for the blue skies above, for a house to call home, for a computer to read this blog on, for a car to drive to work in and the list could go on and on.
